Christian Education
Christian Education serves a vital part of our ministry at Douglas First UMC. It is Sunday School and so much more, providing opportunities to encounter God's word and build relationships which are key to our faith. Christian Education ministries not only provide a learning environment, they offer a space where we can relate to each other and to God in both old and new ways. The ministries highlighted offer unique environments in which we can learn, grow, give and receive support, and nurture relationships which build up our lives and our faith. Since we encounter so many images of Jesus as teacher throughout the Gospels, it is no wonder that we often discover the heart of our faith through Christian Education. It is our hope that you will find a home for your heart and space to belong and grow within the Christian Education ministries of Douglas First UMC.
