United Methodist Women
Douglas First's United Methodist Women Organization is made up of 4 circle groups which meet at different times and places each month! There is a group for everyone! The circles are active in missions supported by the United Methodist Church as well as local needs.
In October 2007, Douglas FUMC was honored to host the South Georgia Annual Conference United Methodist Women's Annual Meeting. Over 300 women from all across south Georgia came together to celebrate the ministry of the United Methodist Women and look to the future.
Ministry and Missions that our UMW are involved in include~

* Annual Salad Luncheon
* UMW Sunday with Baby Recognition making an honorary gift to missions for each infant
* Preparing lunches for our Fall Revival
* Mission Studies
